This year, WIL is hosting the following events in Vancouver. We are recruiting people for the following  event committees:

BC Women in Business Luncheon (May 6th, 2010) - WIL’s fifth Annual BC Women in Business Luncheon is a part of our National Spotlight Speaker Series, which showcases female role models in business and provides excellent networking opportunities. Five inspirational women from different industries share their journeys of leadership, tips for success and how they overcame obstacles along the way.

BC Aboriginal Forum (September, 2010)“Sharing the Inspiration” annual forum recognizes the accomplishments and contributions of Aboriginal women and youth in the private and public sector. Click here to see the blog article for 2009 forum – “I laughed, I cried, I danced like a wolf. “

2. Sweet Talk Committee will organize Sweet Talk Networking Event (August 26, 2010)positions has recently being filled. Thank you for your interest. Please check back next year for opportunities. Interested in attending? Click here for more details.

This sweet and stylish networking event brings people together with fashion, decadent chocolate and wine. 3. Gala Committee will organize SuperWomen & Friends Gala (November, 2010) - click here to see specific opportunities. Click here to see 2009 and 2008 gala.

WIL’s third annual gala is a glamorous event that celebrates the SuperWomen in our midst and the SuperWomen in each of us that is making a significant difference in our businesses, communities, and in the lives of others.  Last year, we had 300 people attend our gala.

Please submit your cover letters & resumes ASAP to volunteer@womeninleadership.ca, with the subject heading specifying the position & committee that you are interested in.  You do not necessarily need to have past experience in the position that you are applying for.
