"It's not about who you know, but what they think of you that matters." Rachna Clavero discusses the impact of leaving a good impression and building relationships as a key enabler of success and shares advice on how to do this effectively.

Rachna Clavero is the Senior Director, Strategic Growth for Kinectrics the largest  provider of services for Canada's nuclear energy industry. She has been building teams and mentoring for over 20 years and maintains that you can leverage the power of your network to   elevate you, as long as that network knows your true value. In this fireside chat, we will explore the   power and impact of leaving a good impression and building relationships that  matter.

Speaker Bio - Rachna Clavero

Rachna   Clavero is the Senior Director of Strategic Growth for Kinectrics. In this   role, she manages the nuclear sales portfolio and leads growth of key areas   like decommissioning, waste management, new technologies and the   international fleet. 

Rachna has had a diverse career, with expertise in safety analysis and   regulatory affairs. She began her career with Atomic Energy of Canada Limited   supporting projects for Bruce Power and Ontario Power Generation. She has   worked on projects in the area of fusion energy, waste management and CANDU   licensing. As a Senior Advisor with the provincial government, she provided strategic advice on nuclear new builds, refurbishment, radioactive waste   management and emergency planning. Rachna has consulted internationally at the IAEA on radiological protection strategies. She is currently the Chair of the Small Reactor Task Force for the Canadian Standards Association and sits as Vice-chair on the committee developing Nuclear Safety Standards. Rachna is a Confidence Coach for DAWN initiative on Driving Advancement for Women in Nuclear. She has been promoting diversity in the workplace and spoken publicly at industry conferences on her own diverse journey in the industry.
