My name is Tianne Nan, and I have been a part of the Emerging Leaders Placement Project (ELPP) for eight months. As someone who loves contributing to my community, I knew this program would be a great fit for me. As a member, and now Co-Chair, of the Youth Steering Committee, I have had the opportunity to work alongside passionate peers from across Canada on many collaborative initiatives. The experience has been incredible, and I have met so many inspiring people whom I would not have met otherwise. Personally, this program has given me greater confidence in sharing ideas, taking initiative, and helping lead meaningful projects that can positively impact teens across Canada.

If you are considering volunteering through the program, go for it! You will have the opportunity to connect with supportive peers and mentors, make meaningful contributions to your community, and develop your leadership skills.
