On May 28, 2025, Women in Leadership Day brought together communities across Canada to celebrate and elevate the voices of women leaders. With in-person events held in Victoria, the Okanagan, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, and Toronto, WIL Day 2025 was a powerful reminder of the strength that comes from connection, storytelling, and shared purpose.
Celebrating Leadership in Every Region
Each city hosted unique programming that reflected the local landscape while contributing to a national movement for gender equity in leadership. From panel discussions and keynote addresses to community networking and cultural sharing, participants left feeling energized, inspired, and ready to take action.
Why WIL Day Matters
Women in Leadership Day is more than a single day of events. It’s a national platform for dialogue, visibility, and impact. At its core, WIL Day is about amplifying diverse voices, building connections, and creating space for new ideas and leadership models to emerge. In every city, the message was clear: leadership is most powerful when it reflects the full diversity of our communities.
A Collective Call to Action
The success of WIL Day 2025 was made possible by a network of volunteers, partners, facilitators, and attendees who believe in the power of collective leadership. As we look ahead, the Women in Leadership Foundation remains committed to supporting women leaders across all sectors and communities.
If you couldn’t attend WIL Day this year, we invite you to stay connected. Follow us on social media, join an upcoming event, or explore opportunities to get involved in your region.
Thank you to everyone who made WIL Day 2025 an inspiring success. We’re already looking forward to what we’ll build together next year.
