✨ Meet the Team ✨

Sukhmani has built her career around connecting the right people to the right opportunities, first in student affairs and now in stakeholder engagement, and she still finds that part of her work most satisfying.
She has spent over six years in Canadian post-secondary student affairs, supporting student success through residence life, community engagement and peer advising. Along the way, she realized what energized her most was the connecting itself: coordinating with community partners, planning events, and bringing the right people into the room. That's part of what draws her to work at the intersection of higher education, public service and economic development.
Outside of work, Sukhmani loves to crochet, go on coffee walks and find new brunch spots. She also volunteers as an Events Coordinator with the WIL Calgary Chapter, where she sees firsthand how strong community connections create opportunities for women in leadership.
As Stakeholder Lead with the Women in Leadership Foundation, she's excited to bring her relationship-building and program coordination experience to strengthening WIL's partnerships and expanding the reach of its programs.
